Abstract
The results of the study of structural and adsorption properties of zeolites in the Chuguevskoye deposit of Primorsky Krai are presented It was found that the initial samples demonstrate intense reflexes of zeolite corresponding to the heulandite structure. Studies of the thermal resistance of zeolite material have been carried out. It was determined that the intensity of reflexes typical for the heylandite structure remains unchanged up to 900 °C. Scanning electron microscopy methods were used to obtain data on the structure of crystallites and elemental composition of the feed stock. It is shown that the zeolite grain microstructure has clearly distinguishable large crystal agglomerates consisting of strongly aggregated sufficiently large crystallites, each of which has the shape of parallelopiped with a transverse size of about 10 microns. The adsorption-structural characteristics of zeolite are investigated. Based on the data obtained, the specific surface area, total pore volume and mesopore size distribution were found.
