Abstract

The purpose of the article is to trace in historical retrospect the trends of human relationships with culture in space and time. Throughout the history of the development and evolution of Russian society, human attitudes to culture have been changing. How and why these relationships changed, and what factors accompanied these processes, determines the objectives of the study. Scientific novelty is characterized by the identification of factors affecting a person's relationship to culture in space and time. As a result, the conclusion about the interdependence and interdependence in the relations between man and culture is formulated and theoretically substantiated that the development of society is accompanied by a person's interest in culture for highly artistic examples of art, and vice versa, the dominance of popular easily accessible culture causes a tendency to degradation of society.
