Abstract
본 연구는 스마트폰 보급이 확산됨에 따라 중학생의 스마트폰 의존도가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 직접적인 영향과 학업무기력을 통한 간접적인 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국아동ㆍ청소년패널 2018의 중학교 1학년의 1차년도 자료를 활용하였다. 분석대상은 중학교 1학년 2,590명을 대상으로 하였으며, 구조방정식모형(structural equation modeling)을 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 중학생의 스마트폰 의존도는 삶의 만족도에 직접적으로 유의한 부적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 스마트폰 의존도는 학업무기력을 통해 삶의 만족도에 간접적으로도 유의한 부적 영향을 미쳐 부분매개효과가 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 스마트폰 의존도가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에서 학업무기력의 간접적인 효과를 밝혔다는 데 의의가 있다. 본 연구결과는 스마트폰 활용과 학업에 대한 내적 동기에 대한 교육과 상담 프로그램 개발의 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
