Abstract

The purpose of the study was to identify, systematize and evaluate the influence of regional environmental factors on the dynamics of demographic processes in the Arctic regions of Russia. Based on the use of correlation and regression analysis the authors revealed highly differentiated relationships between indicators characterizing key demographic processes in the Arctic and factors of the regional environment. The established connections allow a deeper understanding of the factorial impact on the demographic processes in the Arctic, and develop adequate and adapted to the Arctic conditions of management measures.
