Abstract

The article is devoted to the problems of compounds lexicography. The peculiarities of the paradigmatic relations of composites (antonymy and synonymy) and the principles of their codification in specialised dictionaries are analysed. On the basis of the structural-semantic analysis of compounds and their components, both with equal and dominant relationships, the specificity of their codification is revealed. The necessity of introducing particular parameters and sectors into the format of a dictionary entry for a more complete and correct presentation of composites in dictionaries is shown. The factors, which complicate codification, are identified.
