Abstract

According to Federal Law No. 384 “Technical Regulations on the Safety of Buildings and Structures”, when non-standardized technologies and materials are used at a construction site, confirmation of their load-bearing capacity by experimental research and the development of special technical conditions are required. In 2023, the first regulatory document was formed and released considering glass structures as load-bearing structures – this is the new Code of Rules 521.1325800.2023 “Structures made of laminated glass. Design Rules", which expands design capabilities. A new GOST “Glass load-bearing structures” is being prepared for release. Test methods”, regulating the testing procedure. The article presents the results and analysis of tests of glass structures performed by specialists from TSNIISK named after. V.A. Koucherenko in the formation of regulatory documentation, as well as for its expansion and clarification.
