Abstract

Interest in the use of feed additives to increase the effectiveness of training and correct age-related decline in cognitive activity in companion animals has arisen relatively recently. This question is especially relevant considering that animals serve as a model for the development of diagnostics and therapy of diseases of the human brain. As a result of this study, it was found that the Phytodoc neuro feed additive when injected into the stomach belongs to the 4th class of lowtoxic compounds (GOST 12.1.007). The LD50 value for feed additive is more than 5000 mg/kg. Phytodoc neuro has no material and functional accumulation and can be recommended for further study as means to increase cognitive abilities in dogs and cats, as well as to reduce the negative effects of toxic elements.
