Abstract
The transformation of the health care system in Ukraine, radical changes in the health care financing model, which were introduced in 2017, led to changes in the system of training doctors and other specialists. The main task of medical education remains to provide citizens with high-quality medical care thanks to the high level of training of specialists. The new strategy of medical education in Ukraine, the rapid pace of development of medical science, the increase in the amount of new information about innovative technologies in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of major dental diseases – all this necessitated the search for new forms of continuous professional development of doctors.
