Abstract
This study was carried out by the necessity of a comparative investigation of the perceptions of housing movement and housing asset choice between baby boomers and non-baby boomers. The analysis results are as follows. First, In the change of residence, All of them live in Busan currently, but if they plan to move in the future, some of the younger generations are willing to move to Seoul or Gyeongnam. Second, In the satisfaction of the current residence, Significant differences were found between households, and the satisfaction level of current homes was lowered from lower generation to upper generation. Third, In the change in housing types by generation, In the past, baby boomers and their older generations lived in multi-family single-family homes and now live in apartments. Fourth, In the change in occupation pattern by generation, Baby boomers and older generations have seen a greater share of homeownership from past to future. In the future, the intention of owning a house was high. Fifth, On the reason for home-growth and moving plans by generation, The higher the age, the more emphasis was placed on housing stability as a reason for home building.
