Abstract

The problem of nonverbal thinking is most fully revealed in the phenomenon of art. The author assesses the worldview created by the language of art as an alternative method of cognition, which differs from the scientific one by the ability to penetrate the most intimate layers of consciousness and being. Philosophy, the humanities and various forms of art have always been at the forefront of rethinking the world, reassessing values, forming new consciousness and new thinking. Special attention is paid to music, musical thinking, which the author considers to be the basis of the modern type of rationality. It has initiated various innovations and changes not only in art, but also in scientific cognition.
