Abstract
In the manuscript, an analysis of the dynamics of milk production in the districts of Russia, an analysis of the dynamics of milk production in the whole of the Russian Federation and in the districts was carried out. The factors affecting the cost of milk have been reviewed. The dynamics of milk production was investigated in monetary and in-kind terms. The study was conducted in three main categories: agricultural organizations, peasant (farm) farms, population farms. An analysis of the dynamics of the dairy herd and the ratio of the dairy herd to the number of cattle was carried out, a forecast of the dairy herd was compiled. As a result of research, the work carried out a grouping of Russian districts by the level of milk production and a list of priority districts was formed that allow the dairy industry to be effectively produced with a sufficient level of financial support. The analysis, one can distinguish districts with the sustainable development of dairy cattle breeding emerging under the influence of various factors. The analysis of dynamics by groups revealed the categories of farms with the highest volumes and growth rates of production. The analysis was carried out according to Rosstat.
