Abstract

This study was conducted a reliability analysis of the replacement cycle based on the inspection data of receiving power transformers in domestic private electrical facilities. The dataset was constructed with a sample of 529,024 transformer data from about 2.4 hundred-thousands high voltage electrical consumers. Five examples were selected for cumulative failure probability and failure rate based life indicators. Considering the over or under estimation of reliability analysis, the appropriate data sampling level was selected by examining the correlation with life indicators according to the failure data rate. Two-parameter weibull probability distribution was selected by based on the data distribution pattern and distribution suitability review results based on Anderson-Darling statistics. Finally, the replacement cycle was presented as a cumulative failure probability-based B10, B20, and mean failure to time and failure rate-based life indicator.
