Abstract

“Pathogens and Immunology” is a professional and practical basic medical course that serves as a link between fundamental medicine and clinical medicine. Through experimental classes, students can deepen their understanding of theoretical knowledge, improve their ability to analyze and solve problems, and develop rigorous scientific thinking. Thus, the quality of teaching in the experimental class and the quality of teaching directly affect the quality and abilities of students. The traditional learning model is mainly based on theoretical learning and complemented by experimental learning. Most of the experimental projects are verification experiments. Therefore, it is extremely necessary to reform and investigate the experimental doctrine of pathogens and immunology. After reforming the experimental teaching of this subject by developing reasonable learning plans and optimizing assessment methods, students’ enthusiasm for learning, teaching quality and learning effectiveness have improved significantly
