Abstract

The contemporary Algerian poetry knew many transformations in elements forming, as in the one occurring in the structure of rhythm, which involved in revolt against ancient stereotyped poetry. The new poetic text then adopted a new pattern, which suits it new form. Image and elements of poetic language fused in a harmony within an internal rhythm which became an ingredient of poetic language components, and participates in constructing the esthetic of the poetic text and giving it a sense. Rhythm, hereafter, represents the lyrics music’s, which stimulates the language structure and especially develops harmony between the components of poetry. So, each poem has its own rhythmical system that distinguishes it from any other poem.
