Abstract
This article discusses the question of the advisability of introducing a moratorium on bankruptcy in an unfavorable macroeconomic environment, for example, during the covid period. The results of the introduction of a moratorium on bankruptcy in the Russian Federation and the practical necessity of using the Russian experience in the Republic of Belarus are analyzed. Based on the available official data and the experience of a number of business entities, it was concluded that it would be inappropriate to introduce a moratorium on bankruptcy in the Republic of Belarus.
