Abstract

The results of a study of the dielectric and thermal properties of nanocomposites obtained by embedding cesium nitrate (CsNO3) into porous glasses with an average pore size of 100 nm are presented. Similar results are given for bulk CsNO3. An increase by ~ 3 K in the ferroelectric transition temperature of cesium nitrate in porous glass and an increase in the temperature hysteresis of the phase transition from 3 K for bulk CsNO3 to 12 K for CsNO3 in porous glass were found.
