Abstract

Recently, national and regional publicity and interest in UNESCO World Heritage have been focused, and accordingly, the preference for visiting tourists is increasing. UNESCO World Heritage is an irreplaceable precious heritage with universal value to hand down the precious cultural heritage that our humanity has preserved to our descendants. In this study, we tried to develop an evaluation index that can be usefully used for the future conservation and publicity of Jeju's World Heritage and for preparing a plan for revitalizing the region. To this end, related research was conducted with the aim of establishing the elements and criteria necessary to measure the experience evaluation centering on the placeness and perceptual value of UNESCO World Heritage Sites and deriving objective and reasonable evaluation indicators.
