Abstract
The article analyses the Russian dialect loan words in the Khanty language. The research material is extracted from lexicographical sources. The paper discusses the historical prerequisites of the Russian old-timers’ dialects formation of the Ob-Irtysh interfluve, the conditions and causes of contact adoption. The adopted vocabulary is described in the thematic aspect. The notions taken from the Russian immigrants and relevant for the adopting language are revealed. The authors make a conclusion about the influence of the Russian by origin lexical elements on the Khanty national linguistic worldview.
