Abstract

To study the dialogue of religious traditions, it is important to consider intra-confessional dialogue between Protestant churches. In the first part of the article, the author examines modern approaches to the dialogue. The second part of the paper shows that despite the diversity and mutual contradictions of modern Protestantism movements, they have common values and ethical attitudes, both ascending to the Reformation (sola fide, sola gratiae, sola Scriptura, solus Christus, soli Deo gloria (only faith, only grace, only Scripture, only Christ, only glory to God)) and introduced during the historical development of Protestantism (worldly asceticism, revivalism, perfectionism, eschatological orientation). Common axiological and ethical positions of Protestantism movements are the basis for their constructive dialogue, which is relevant for the current religious situation in Russia.
