Abstract
The article discusses issues related to the practice of protecting cultural heritage sites in our country. Special attention is paid to the problem of using and carrying out works on the preservation of historical and cultural monuments, as well as attention is focused on the actual method of preserving and popularizing cultural heritage objects – museification.
