Abstract

The effectiveness of in vitro fertilization programs in Russia according to the Russian Association for Human Reproduction (RAHR) in 2019 was 38.5% based on embryo transfer [1]. The lack of implantation of good quality embryos may be due to a decrease in the susceptibility of the uterine mucosa. The thickness of the endometrium at the time of embryo transfer is considered as one of the markers of its receptivity. Based on the analysis of medical documentation, the influence of the thickness of the uterine mucosa on the results of assisted reproductive technology (ART) programs was assessed. It has been shown that an endometrial thickness of less than 8 mm on the day of embryo transfer is accompanied by a decrease in the incidence of clinical pregnancy and live birth.
