Abstract
당나라 궁궐이었던 대명궁유지는 중국 섬서성(陝西省) 시안에 위치해 있으며, 실크로드의 중요한 문화적 유산으로 2014년에 유네스코 세계유산으로 등재되었다. 세계유산으로 유네스코의 규칙에 따라 문화재의 진정성과 완전성을 지키기 위하여 유적지에 대한 보호를 바탕으로 활용해 왔기 때문에, 가시적 경관의 한계, 전시품의 부족, 전통콘텐츠 요소의 결여 등 한계가 보인다. 본 글에서는 대명궁유지의 활용 현황을 설명하면서 이 과정에서 드러난 문제를 세계유산이라는
