Abstract
The action of immunotropic drugs used for the treatment and prevention of respiratory tract infections is aimed at activating and strengthening the body's immune response in the fight against infectious pathogens. Immunotropic drugs are important tools in maintaining and strengthening the body's protective functions. This is especially important in relation to the respiratory tract, as it is one of the main routes of entry for various pathogenic microorganisms. However, despite the large amount of research and accumulated knowledge about the effect of individual immunotropic agents on the immune system, the exact molecular mechanism of action of both synthetic and other immunotropic drugs is not fully understood.
