특성화고 학생들의 학교생활 스트레스와 학교 만족도 인식 차이 연구

Abstract

This study explores students" school life stress, their perceived satisfaction with specialized high schools based on gender, grade, and school type, and the relationship between the two. Subjects are 433 students(336 males and 97 females) in different specialized high schools in South Korea. To test the research hypotheses, descriptive statistics, t-analysis, and analysis of variance(ANOVA) were conducted. The findings revealed significant differences in: (a) school life stress based on gender, and depending on the students" grade, "friend stress" was found to be the most significant among the sub-categories of stress; (b) school life stress depending on the type of specialized high school; (c) school life satisfaction based on students" gender and grade; and (d) students" perceived school life satisfaction based on the type of specialized high school. Future studies should conduct an in-depth examination of the confounding variables by exploring the relationship between stress and additional relevant identifying factors of specialized high school students.
