Abstract

The use of fiber-optic technologies in the conditions of coal industry enterprises is justified, since fiber-optic sensors are the most sensitive, without the influence of an electromagnetic field, explosion-proof, and corrosion resistant. Fiber optic technology has also been introduced in the mining industry to detect deformation, detect underground gases such as methane, and monitor underground. The human factor has an impact on the accuracy of control, it is also necessary to take into account the suddenness of changes in the picture of mountain pressure in certain areas and the formation of emergency-hazardous collapse zones. Long-term observations of the manifestations of rock pressure have shown a rather acute problem of sudden deformation of the support, leading to a significant reduction in its cross-section, respectively, there is a need to develop hardware and software for monitoring rock pressure, which will allow you to get a more accurate tool and, with its initial changes, carry out proactive measures to strengthen the fastening of workings, preventing cases of collapse and deformation of the arch support.. The purpose of this work is to develop a fiber-optic sensor for monitoring the identification of the geotechnical condition and improving the efficiency of monitoring and ensuring the safety of mining operations in high-risk conditions due to a sudden explosion of gas and dust.
