Abstract

The article examines an algorithm for analyzing speech formulas of polite excuses and identifying their statistical characteristics. Such an approach allows determining most exactly the meaning of lexical units, and the applied tools minimize the influence of the sub¬jective factor. The analysis singled out 11 basic speech formulas and revealed the use of auxiliary statement components.
