Abstract

Cubital canal syndrome is one of the most common tunnel mononeuropathies. The paper considers the etiology, pathogenesis, risk factors of development, principles of clinical and instrumental diagnosis and treatment of patients with cubital canal syndrome. The most common operations indicated for this pathology are also described in detail: open decompression, endoscopic decompression, microdecompression, subcutaneous transposition, intramuscular transposition and axillary transposition, medial epicondylectomy. The outcomes of various treatment methods are described based on the data of modern scientific literature. The choice of surgical treatment is based on several factors, and the same surgical method cannot be used in all clinical situations.
