Abstract

The research aims to identify a set of signs indicating effectiveness of professional speech of teachers suffering consequences of burnout. Scientific novelty of the work lies in developing a model for psycholinguistic study of professional pedagogical speech functioning under the conditions of chronic stress. The acquired knowledge adds greatly to the conceptual basis of A. A. Leontiev’s theory of speech activity. As a result, previously unexplored factors influencing effectiveness of professional speech were studied. An original set of signs indicating effectiveness of a teacher’s verbal messages, adequate for an analysis of pedagogical communication under the influence of negative extralinguistic factors, was proposed.
