Abstract

Understanding the subject composition of business law is a consequence of the difficulty in defining the sub-ject matter of this branch of legal science. Since the subject of business law is not legally fixed, the composition of relations attributable to this branch is the object of constant discussions. To date, there is no universally rec-ognized concept of the subject of entrepreneurial law in science, various author’s interpretations prevail, mak-ing it difficult to study the concept of the subject and the criteria for attributing certain subjects to the number of participants in entrepreneurial relations. The author of this article, analyzing the most famous concepts of the subject of entrepreneurial law, formulated by prominent domestic scientists in this field, concludes that there is no unity in science regarding the interpretation of the basic categories of entrepreneurial law, which makes it difficult to institutionalize the industry as an independent unit of the Russian legal system. The work uses gen-eral scientific methods of research, the main subject of study is doctrinal sources of entrepreneurial law.
