Abstract
Poetry has a great role among developed nations. Poetry has a task to raise awareness. Abdul Razaq Bimar as a successful poet had thought about his nation and tried to take the guidance role. He focused on Kurdish poetry and literature and he attempted to develop them. So, romanticism was his choice. However, Bimar’s works have not been studied. Therefore, the research is dedicated to studying Bimar’s poetry. This research consists of two parts; the first part is dedicated to defining romanticism as a literary movement and the influence of romanticism in Kurdish literature. While the second part is dedicated to discussing Bimar’s poetry. The research shows that Bimar was familiar with romanticism and this has been reflected in his poetry.
