Abstract
The urgency of the problem of the formation of value-semantic orientations of future educators of pre-school education institutions is due to the fact, that it is the pre-school specialists become the translator of the value system for the younger generation. Therefore, it is important to model the educational process in institutions of higher education in such a way that it is based on axiological ideas. Thus, the article is devoted to the analysis of the problem of formation of value-semantic orientations of the individual in sociological science for effective modeling of the corresponding system of value-semantic orientations among future educators. The essence of the categories «value», «value orientation», which in sociological research is associated with the development of society and culture, is defined. The author identifies two approaches in sociological science regarding the mechanisms of transformation of values into value orientations. In the context of the first, society with the help of different social institutions influences the personality and imposes on it most of the values that are adopted consciously or unconsciously in the process of socialization. According to the second approach, values are produced not only by society, but directly by the person, that is, the process of socialization itself is understood bilaterally ‒ as the assimilation of the norms and values of society on the one hand, as the process of production of values by the person himself – on the other. It is proved that values are the regulator of social relations, and value orientations are formed in the process of socialization-individualization of the individual, where the source of their formation is a certain meaning that a person attaches to a particular value. The individual value-semantic orientations are understood as concrete values that are conscious, accepted, and such that have acquired meaning for an individual in a certain period of life; value-semantic orientations are dynamic, they can change under the influence of various factors (socio-economic, political, etc.) and various life events.
