Abstract

The authors describe the work at an interactive atlas concept, reflecting the historical facts of formation and development of the Engineering Geodesy Department. The onset of the atlas is associated with the use of advanced geoinformation and web technologies. Creating digital maps was carried out in the software environment QGIS (version 3.26.3), distribution using web browsers in the programming languages HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP. The source of the information for making thematic maps was archival materials, resources of the library fund, video libraries, open data of evidence and participants in the educational process, findings from websites and geoportals.
