Abstract

The article is devoted to the system of organization and disposal of the right to intellectual property (IP). The relevance of the topic lies in the fact that the most important element of the new knowledge economy is intellectual property (IP). In business, “intellectual property” means ownership of exclusive rights, i.e. only the owner of intellectual property and, above all, the author, has the exclusive right to use it. No other person can use the intellectual property in any way without the owner’s permission. According to the international legal act - the Convention Establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization, "intellectual property" includes rights in relation to: literary, artistic and scientific works; performing artistic activities, recording, radio and television shows; inventions in all spheres of human activity; scientific discoveries; industrial designs; trademarks, etc. Therefore, the issues of assessment and accounting of intellectual property in modern conditions are of particular relevance and practical importance. The article discusses the theoretical and methodological foundations of IP objects; the scheme of IP objects is highlighted; the system of organizing the rights of IP objects is analyzed; the types of agreements on the disposal of IP rights are studied; the problems and trends of IP objects are considered.
