Abstract

The article creates the outline of the connection between the Caucasus’s and Sevastopol’s key regionally important historical points on the pretext of archive documents and particular literary sources. Systematized aggregation of the documents stored in the SPI Sevastopol State Archive is presented in the article. These documents contain information about key historic events of Caucasus and the fate of its’ people. The description of the documental collection is complemented with the publication of documents serving as evidence of the regions’ reciprocity in the scope of culture, politics, religion, and state matters. The article contains a detailed account of the process of information acquirement using free-access Internet sources, archive documents, and printed publications.
