Abstract

What happened on the Crimean Bridge in 2022 has shown that transport facilities are still attractive for committing acts of unlawful interference, and that the state mechanism protecting them is not perfect. The purpose of the study was to systematize strategic planning documents and railway transport development programs, to identify if the established mandatory requirements for ensuring transport security are adequate to potential threats. The author substantiates the necessity for making amendments to the Federal Law ‘On Railway Transport’.
