Abstract

Based on Rosstat data, the trends and factors determining labor productivity in modern Russia are assessed. It is shown that the main trend in the development of the Russian economy is a decrease in the growth rate of labor productivity. It is shown that the influence of wages and accumulated fixed capital on labor productivity is equivalent. At the same time, with a high level of confidence, labor productivity is determined by the amount of wages, and the advance of wage growth in relation to productivity growth largely determines the growth of labor productivity.
