Abstract

The article reflects the problem associated with the need to train nursing specialists to provide professional palliative medical care (PMC) in the context of innovative development of society. The article describes the problems associated with the development of the legal framework of the PMC in Russia, which regulates educational activities. At the same time, the purpose of vocational education is to train not only a competent specialist who is able to solve professional problems, but also a specialist who has personal qualities (ethical, spiritual), who is able to solve personal and social problems.
