Abstract
본 연구는 영유아기 자녀를 둔 저소득가정 아버지 관련 연구의 동향 분석을 위해 41편의 국외 학술지 논문을 선정하고, 연구방법 및 연구결과에 따른 국외 연구 동향을 살펴보았다. 연구방법에 대한 분석 결과, 양적 연구방법이 질적 및 문헌 연구방법보다 많이 사용되었으나 비교적 고른 분포를 보였으며, 저소득과 아버지라는 대상 특성으로 인해 패널 자료의 활용이 두드러지게 관찰되었다. 다음으로 연구결과에 따른 연구 동향 분석을 위해 저소득 아버지; 저소득 아버지-영유아기 자녀; 저소득 아버지-인적환경의 세 가지 주제 범주별로 연구결과를 고찰하고, 이를 토대로 세분화된 저소득 아버지 참여 지원 및 후속연구 방향을 논의하였다. 본 연구는 그동안 한국사회에서 다양한 편견과 기회차별에 놓여있던 저소득 아버지에 대한 현장 교사 및 전문가들의 이해를 넓히고, 더 나아가 저소득 맥락에서 아버지들의 부모 역할인식 및 실천을 지원하는 프로그램 구축에 필요한 기초자료로 활용될 것이라 기대된다.
