Abstract
The article discusses the philosophical and pedagogical foundations for creating a model of a linguistic personality based on the national culture of the Sakha people (in the plural — Sakhalar), which means “white”, “sunny” in the Yakut language. The sun is one of the main symbols of national culture, depicted on the republican flag as a white circle. The Sakha people have a rich system of ethnic education of the younger generation, built with the help of their national mythological, cultural, religious traditions, language and culture. However, global changes in the education of the Sakha people, the emergence of information and digital technologies, the emerging threat of the disappearance of the native language pose new questions for modern pedagogical science related to understanding the role of the native language and culture in the education and upbringing of the younger generation. The article substantiates the necessity of considering the peculiarities of educating a schoolchild’s linguistic personality in the system of his native language. Because it is in the semantics of the national language as part of the culture of the people that the holistic ethical picture of the world and the universe itself are encoded. The educated linguistic personality makes it possible for young person to have reliable immunity from the destruction of national traditions and cultural heritage, false and primitive norms of behavior and social temptations imposed on society through the media and a distorted system of social values.
