Abstract

The author justifies the opinion that a criminal policy based on traditional values can be viewed as a new model of the criminal policy of the country. It implies not only adjustment of adopted criminal and political decisions but also the establishment of independent criminal law protection of traditional values. Taking into account that values are to a great extent a moral and ethical category, the legal content of traditional values and their development on the basis of and in relation to the constitutional text become important for the legitimation of a new criminal policy model. Thus, the problem of constitutionalization of the criminal policy acquires an additional study impulse.
