Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the specifics of the poetic language of German-speaking women’s poetry of the second half of the XX - the beginning of the XXI century. The article reviews the main trends in classical and modern German-language poetry; the peculiarities of German-language women’s poetry of the second half of the XX - the beginning of the XXI century are presented. The scientific originality of the paper consists in comprehensive analysis of genre peculiarities of German-speaking women’s poetry of the XX-XXI centuries in the context of classical heritage samples. The findings allow concluding that compared to classical poetic works where poeticism, rhythm and verse size were priority components, modern poetry tends to use white verse and vers libre.
