Abstract

Scientific understanding of various aspects of the interaction of local selfgovernment and public administration is due to the theoretical and practical study and coordination of social processes occurring and maturing in the course of the modernization of society. In many cases, these relations determine not only the effectiveness of the implementation by local governments of the powers assigned to them, but also affect the course of development of the local government system. The success of territorial modernization processes directly depends on the degree of state decision-making and local interactions, and the participation of the population in these interactions will contribute to the development of democratic forms, the formulation and solution of deep social problems. The subject of the study is the analysis of various aspects of the development of relations between local government and public administration, as well as the features of their functional interaction.
