Abstract
The research aims to prepare a measure of habits of mind for students in the preparatory stage consists of sixteen dimensions, namely persistance and managing impulsivity, listening with understanding and empathy , thinking flexibility , thinking about thinking, metacognition striving for accuracy and precision , questioning andposing problem, applying past knowledge to new situation , think and comminuting with clarity and precision , gathering data through all senses , creating, imigary and inovating, responding with wonder andawe, taking responsible risks, finding humor, thinking interdependently, and learning continuously, has been verified psychometric characteristics of the scale of habits of mind on a sample search made up of (281) students of the first grade preparatory students ranging in age from 11 to 13 years has shown the results on a good degree of validity, stability and applicability.
