Abstract
The article discusses online education in general and online education during covid-19. It is said that covid-19 has affected educational systems worldwide, as well as in Armenia. The article examines the difficulties of Armenian educational system during the pandemic but the main goal of the article is to look into the peculiarities of online education during foreign language teaching and learning. Some online educational software applications and platforms that can make the foreign language learning and teaching process more interesting are presented. Zoom is presented as a powerful platform that has many innovative features and can help teachers and lecturers to deliver engaging online lessons.
