Abstract

Korean Abstract: 본 연구는 재무설계 경험자들이 평가한 재무설계 상담특성 및 재무설계사 서비스품질이 재무설계 성과와 만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 실증분석을 위하여 서울특별시와 6대 광역시에 거주하면서 재무설계를 경험한 20~50대, 총 405명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였고, 경제활동을 하지 않는 학생과 하나의 직업군으로 묶기 어려운 기타 직업군을 제외한 뒤 최종 365부를 분석에 사용하였다. SPSS 23.0 통계프로그램을 사용해 분석하였으며 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별, 월평균 저축액, 상담료 지불여부, 대응성과 기술성 서비스품질이 재무적 성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 거주지역, 상담희망정도, 신뢰성과 기술성 서비스품질이 비재무적 성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 연령, 신뢰성, 대응성, 기술성 서비스품질이 재무설계 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구가 갖는 의의를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상담횟수, 상담기간, 상담료 지불여부, 보고서 수신여부 등을 포함하여 재무설계 상담특성을 구체적으로 살펴보았다. 둘째, 재무설계에서 가장 중요한 역할을 차지하는 재무설계사를 중심에 두고서 연구를 진행하였다. 본 연구가 갖는 한계점을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 척도의 문제이다. 보다 체계화된 재무설계사 서비스품질에 관한 척도가 개발 되어야 할 것이다. 둘째, 일반화의 문제이다. 본 조사는 온라인 패널단을 통해 이루어졌기 때문에 컴퓨터를 사용하는 사람들로만 표집되어 연구결과를 일반화하기 어렵다. English Abstract: This study examined the effects of financial planning counseling features and financial planners’ service quality on the financial planning performance and satisfaction, as evaluated by those who experienced financial planning counseling. For empirical analysis, a survey was conducted on 405 subjects, who were in their 20’s~50’s, living in Seoul and six metropolitan cities in Korea, and had an experience with financial planning counseling. A final 365 questionnaire copies were used for the analysis, excluding students who did not engage in economic activity and those whose occupation was difficult to classify into a single category. The data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 statistical processing software. The findings are as follows. First, gender, mean monthly savings, counseling fee, responsiveness, and technical service quality had an effect on the financial outcomes. Second, area of residence, preferred level of counselling, reliability, and technical service quality had an effect on the non-financial outcomes. Third, age, reliability, responsiveness, and technical service quality had an effect on the satisfaction with financial planning counseling. The significance of this study was as follows. First, based on the researcher’s 20 years of field experience, this study performed an in-depth examination of the features of financial planning counselling, specifically in light of the counseling features, including the number of counselling sessions, counseling period, counseling fees, and reception of reports. Second, this study has significance given the paucity of related literature focusing on financial planners, whose role is the core in financial planning counseling. The limitations of this study were as follows. First, it was matter of scale. A more systematic measure of service should be developed. Second, it was a matter of generalization. Because this survey was conducted through an online panel, it is difficult to generalize the results of the research because only people using the computer were sampled.
