Abstract

Mathematical modeling of computer virus epidemics is the most important area of theoretical research in the field of information security. The objective of this paper is to analyze the applicability of the modified Reed-Frost model for epidemic analysis on real-life graphs. We compare the results calculated using the model with the results obtained during the simulation experiment with different epidemic parameters. As a result, the epidemic parameters, in which both methods are in good agreement with each other, have been identified.
