Russian Abstract: Работа посвящена развитию дополнительного профессионального образования в контексте инновационного развития. На основании анализа данных опроса работодателей и работников потенциально инновационных отраслей экономики рассматривались внешние и внутренние факторы, стимулирующие запрос на обновление знаний со стороны как работодателей различных сфер деятельности, так и работников различного образовательного уровня. Кроме того, были изучены наиболее распространенные практики дополнительного образования, формы обучения и финансирование программ ДПО. Также изучены формы взаимодействия работодателей с организациями, предоставляющими услуги дополнительного образования. English Abstract: The study is devoted to the development of complementary vocational education in the context of innovative development. Basing on the analysis of the data of the survey among employers and employees in the sectors of the economy that may be viewed as potentially innovative, external and internal factors that stimulate the request for knowledge update from both employers of various fields and employees of various educational level are considered. Besides, the most common practices of complementary education, forms of training and financing of complementary vocational programs have been studied. The forms of interaction between employers and organizations providing services of complementary education have also been analyzed.
