Abstract

The article examines the evolutionary development of financial globalization the process, the rising processes of deglobalization, transformation of the world order and the impact of these processes on the financial stability of countries. Current events show that the world order is being transformed, the structure and mechanisms of the global economy are changing. There is a qualitative change in the competitive environment and differentiation of states in the global space. In the article particular attention is paid to the situation with the alleged “default” of the Russian Federation on its obligations to foreign investors caused by sanctions in 2022. The possible consequences of the voluntary blocking of payments by creditors are considered and the effect of these events on economic, financial and monetary policy in Russia are analyzed.
