Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate 10 weeks neuromuscular training on power and balance in Taekwoon-demonstration(Taekwoon-demo). Twenty eight collegiate Taekwoon-demo were randomly divided into two groups : Taekwoon-demo group(Ex=14), control group(Con=14). The Ex groups completed the neuromuscualr training program with plyometric and exercise ball 10 weeks, 3 times a week and for 60 minutes but control group conducted routine life. As a result of the study.
 The 10 weeks neuromuscular training showed a significant difference between groups in the Sargent jump and standing long jump among the factors of Taekwoon-demo' power. In addition, there was a significant difference between pre-posts and groups in the condition of one leg and tandem standing with eyes closed on the floor. There was a significant difference between pre-posts and groups in the condition of two feet, one leg and tandem standing with eyes closed on the pad. Conclusionly, 10 weeks of neuromuscular training are believed to improve the jumping ability and the balance.
