Abstract

This scientific article is devoted to the study of the prospects for the development of gastronomic tourism in Russia. The characteristics of the main types of gastronomic tourism are given. A gastronomic review of some regions of Russia has been carried out. The components of the potential of Russian gastronomic tourism are highlighted and their characteristics are presented. Conclusions are drawn about the significant potential of gastronomic tourism and that it can become a significant sector of the tourism industry, attracting a large number of tourists. The connection of gastronomic tourism with other types of domestic tourism is shown. Some proposals for the development of gastronomic tourism and ensuring its accessibility are substantiated.
